ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Three cars were stolen last night on Rockford's south-side and police say the crimes are all connected.

The first happened at 8:15 p.m. in the 2700 Block of 11th Street. Then, about an hour later, another car was reported stolen from the Mobil Gas Station at 1344 East State Street and again around 10:30 p.m., another car was reported stolen from the Mobil Gas Station at 2605 Broadway.

Rockford Police say early this morning they found all of the cars in the 1100 Block of Benton Street. Nothing was missing from the cars and they were most likely stolen for a joy ride.
