ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- About $100,000 is estimated in damage after a fire at a Rockford manufacturing plant early Wednesday morning.

Fire officials say the fire broke out before 4:30 a.m. at MNP Precision in the 1100 block of Samuelson Road. Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke throughout the building.

Shortly afterward, a machine inside the east entrance was discovered on fire. The oil inside the machine was also burning.

Due to the smoke, cyanide levels measured at six until the building was ventilated by opening overhead doors.

The cause of the fire has been ruled accidental.
