Yamato Drummers of Japan Coming to Coronado

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Yamato, Drummers of Japan are coming to the Coronado Performing Arts Center Friday November 1st, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.

In celebration of 20 amazing years, Yamato - The Drummers of Japan want to mark the occasion with a special anniversary tour that will hit the road in 2013. Fans all over the world can now experience the spectacular celebration of ROJYOH, which means “on the road”, a special tour that includes Yamato’s most memorable performances. Yamato were born in the Japanese prefecture of Nara, where they originally were supposed to perform one only song for their shrine’s small festival. However, since then they have been called from all over the world giving them the opportunity to work, run, sit, eat, dream and drum on the road.

Tickets for the event are $35 and $45 and $25 for students (in-person only). Tickets can be purchased online at www.coronadopac.org, by phone at 815-968-0595 and in-person at the Coronado Box Office between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
