BYRON (WIFR) -- Byron Fest got under way Friday night with music from 7th Heaven and AuidoDrive. All weekend long the stages will be jammed pack with a mix of music, with bands like Dot Dot Dot and Big Daddy Woo Woo playing this Saturday and Sunday. More info on the event at the link below.
FREEPORT (WIFR) -- The sweet sounds of blues music filled Downtown Freeport Friday evening at the Festival. The annual event is held on Chicago Avenue between Stephenson and Main Streets. This year Aaron Williams, the HooDoo and Kilborn Alley were on hand to entertain the crowds.
BELVIDERE (WIFR) -- Classic car lovers will want to be at the Boone County Fairgrounds this weekend for the 22nd Annual Belvidere Mopar Happening.
