ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Calling all jack-o-lanterns! Dead pumpkins become parking lot projectiles when flung from Discovery Center’s giant catapult on Sunday, November 6 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. for the museum’s annual Smashing Pumpkins event.
Send your jack-o-lantern flying through the air with our trebuchet, a counterweight catapult used in medieval times. Create your own miniature catapult and learn how to lob. Take part in various fall arts and crafts activities. A smashing good time for people of all ages!
