Ignite Speaks: Rockford Summer Fun

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- It's seems fitting that on a day when we hit 80 degrees we can look ahead to Summer in Rockford. Tonight the young professionals group Ignite talks about what they are most looking forward to doing in the Forest City once the weather is nice.

Amanda Featherston says "I'm looking forward to downtown patio areas opening up, going to dinner, park district, magic waters. Those are some of my favorite things to do."

Nicholas Frohmader says "I am a big golfer, the public courses here in Rockford are great. So I'm really looking forward to that. I also play softball in the Rockford Park District and play volleyball out at ISC. So just getting out there and playing sports, we play football at one of the local parks every week so I really like that kind of stuff."

Ryan Holsker says "Golfing, grilling out, big bags too. Just kind of being outside as much as possible."

Betsy Lopez says "One of the big things, I think, city market. you know things going on, Friday night Flix. So there's a lot of... a lot of things you can do."
