ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- River City Sound Chorus would like you to join us at rehearsals and be part of a December concert. The prime objective of this series is to attract new members and, of course, to have fun! Don’t be afraid–you probably already know the words and melodies to most of the songs we’re performing!
Holiday Harmony will be held Wednesday evenings at 6:45 p.m., November 2, 9, 16, 30 and December 7, 2011 in the Community Building Complex of Boone County, 111 W. 1st St., Belvidere, IL. The concert will be performed at Spring Creek United Church of Christ, corner of North Alpine and Spring Creek on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 10:30 a.m.

River City Sound Chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, the largest women’s singing organization in the world! Our mission is to learn and share the art of singing four-part a cappella harmony in the barbershop style. We are two-time regional champions who competed internationally in Seattle last year, and will compete at the 2012 international competition in Denver next October.
