UNDATED (WIFR) -- He's perhaps the wealthiest man ever to come from the Stateline and tonight Freeport High Alum Robert Johnson tells CBS News Anchor Scott Pelley how he would fix the economy.

"I've been in business for over 30 years. I've never seen a time when there's been more zero-sum game mentality in the united states among political parties," Johnson said.

The second youngest of ten children, Johnson founded the BET network, en route to becoming the country's first African American billionaire. The ex-leader of the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats was also the first black majority owner of any major pro sports team. But what leaves a salty taste in the mouth of this former pretzel is the partisan divide in Washington.

"If you were a business person looking at this and you saw two people arguing like that you would say I don't want to do business with any of those guys and you go off looking for somebody else who you want to do business. And you know what you find, the Chinese who want to do business. You find the Vietnamese who want to do business, you find the Brazilians," Johnson said.
