ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Blues singer Etta James has died.
The 73-year-old had been hospitalized for breathing trouble. Her longtime manager recently revealed a diagnosis of terminal leukemia.
We're told she died of complications from the disease. Rolling Stone magazine ranked james number 22 on their list of 100 greatest singers of all time.
