ROCKFORD (OTW) -- Illinois’ largest street festival, On the Waterfront, announced today that country singer, Josh Turner will be the Saturday night headliner of the Great Lawn stage at 28th annual On the Waterfront festival.
“We are very excited to add a country performer to our Great Lawn lineup this year” said Nina Jacobson, OTW Sales and Marketing Manager. “The programming committee works very hard to bring a little bit of everything to Rockford on Labor Day weekend, and adding Josh Turner to the lineup of Jason Derulo, Stone Temple Pilots, and The Rock Allegiance Tour does just that.”
Since 2003, Josh Turner has released four albums with ten singles hitting on the Billboard country singles charts. Turner’s hits include; “Long Black Train”, “Your Man”, “Would You Go with Me”, “Firecracker” and the biggest of his hits, “Why Don’t We Just Dance.” Known for his deep soulful voice, the 33 year old singer from South Carolina combines his love for country music with his carefree style of life in creating his music and delivering it to fans.
