NEW YORK (AP) -- He was a fixture in morning television.
Longtime movie critic Joel Siegel has died. Word of his death came from W-A-B-C T-V in New York, where Siegel was a movie critic.
His work there and for "Good Morning America" netted him five New York Emmy Awards. The station says Siegel, who was 63, had been battling colon cancer.
Siegel was known for his sense of humor, movie acumen and sharp judgment. He never let an actor off the hook if the performance was lackluster.
