Lohan sued over 2005 crash in Beverly Hills

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Lindsay Lohan is facing a lawsuit over a car crash.

A Los Angeles man is suing the actress for crashing her car into his van almost two years ago. Raymundo Ortega alleges Lohan was under the influence of alcohol.

The lawsuit also names The Ivy restaurant as a defendant, saying the establishment served Lohan alcohol even though she's underage.

Ortega is seeking 200-thousand dollars in damages.

Authorities have said that Lohan did not appear to be responsible for the crash in Beverly Hills in October 2005.

Lohan turns 21 next month. She checked into rehab after a wild Memorial Day weekend during which she crashed her Mercedes-Benz into a curb, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and was photographed slumped in the passenger seat of a friend's car.
