NEW YORK (AP) -- Singer Kelly Clarkson is calling off her concert tour.
Her publicist has put out a statement quoting promotor Michael Rapino as saying, "Ticket sales have not been what we anticipated." The statement says the Clarkson team is re-evaluating the size and scope of her show.
Clarkson is apologizing to fans on her Web site. She says, "The fact is that touring is just too much too soon." She promises to tour as soon as she can.
Tickets for the tour can be refunded at the point of purchase.
Clarkson's new album, "My December," is set for release July 24th.
