EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) -- It's lights, camera, action in Edwardsville today.
Portions of two downtown streets in the Metro East community will be closed for several hours today to allow for filming of a movie called "The Return."
The movie stars Tim Robbins and Rachel McAdams and tells the story of three soldiers who return from Iraq, then take a cross-country road trip.
The film's location manager (Santiago Quinones) says the city will be portrayed as Denver when the film is released. He says producers picked Edwardsville for its architecture.
One scene will show McAdams driving down a street while talking on a cell phone.
The other scene will be shot indoors at a local guitar store.
