University of California, Riverside, prof Tom Lutz says an occasional tear from former President Bill Clinton shows he feels your pain. But a crying Hillary Clinton would show a lack of control on the part of the Democratic presidential candidate. Lutz is the author of an exhaustive history of crying. He says men now feel they can cry a bit in public, but a woman crying just reinforces old stereotypes.
