NEW YORK (AP) -- Britney Spears' label has decided to push up the release date on her new album.
Jive Records has announced Spears' album "Blackout" will come out October 30th, rather than November 13th. Jive cites Internet leaks as the reason for moving the date.
Jive says it's "doing everything possible to prevent and avoid any further illegal distribution of songs."
The first single from the album, "Gimme More," was number three on the Billboard Hot 100 last week.
