DALLAS (AP) -- Isaac Hanson, the frontman for the group Hanson, says he hopes to be playing guitar again in a few days.
The 26-year-old had surgery in Dallas to remove a blood clot from his lungs.
The surgeon says he expects Hanson to make a full and swift recovery.
The guitarist checked into Baylor University Medical Center after his arm became swollen and discolored during a show earlier this week.
Isaac Hanson performs with his brothers Taylor and Zac.
The group, best known for 1997's "MMMBop," plans to resume its tour Monday in Knoxville, Tennessee.
