POPLAR GROVE (WIFR) -- In early May, Dr. Bridget Belcastro, the principal at Capron Elementary made a deal with the students in Miss Stout’s third/fourth grade class that if the class of 18 read 20,000 minutes before June 5, 2014, she would spend the night on the roof of the school.

The class began reading right away. Every free minute that they had at home or at school, they could be found reading. Miss Stout kept track of their minutes on their weekly reading log and as of June 2nd they had already read 20,690 minutes and were excited about winning the deal!

The night before the last day of school (June 5, 2014), Dr. Belcastro will climb to the roof of Capron Elementary school and spend the night.
