ROCKFORD (WIFR) - On January 23, the Rockford Register Star is sponsoring a job fair at the Tebala Shrine Temple at 7910 Newburg Road. The event will run from 10 am - 3 pm.

This will be the first job fair of the 2013 for Rockford Register Star who plans on holding at least three this year.

The Rockford Register Star will print a special jobs section each Wednesday in an effort to focus on work and educational opportunities in the Rock River Valley. Their section titled “Workin’ Wednesdays” is also the name of their job fair events.

Wednesday’s Job Fair will feature open positions from 26 different employers. The companies that will be represented include Apex Exteriors, Avancer, Avon, Blain's Farm & Fleet, The Connection, Financial Management Systems (FMS), Frances House, Inc., Insphere Insurance Solutions, J.L. Clark, Lowe's Distribution Center, Movie Facts Inc., Owens Corning, Pool Corp, Rockford Fire Department, Rockford Register Star, ServiceMaster Contract Services, State Collection Service, Sunset Memorial Gardens and Super Pantry. There are also positions available through Bourn & Koch, Furst Staffing and The Workplace.
Educational opportunities are available with Judson University, Premier CDL Traing Services, Rasmussen College and Rockford Career College.
