RACVB Hires New Accounting/Grants Manager

ROCKFORD (WIFR) –– The Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau has hired Joanne Nold as its accounting and grants manager. Nold will be responsible for all financial functions including preparing financial reports, performing statistical analysis and budget forecasting, writing grant applications and preparing and submitting grant monitoring reports.

“Joanne comes to us with great qualifications and recommendations. She is a long time CPA and has a great track record in both the private sector and not-for-profit sector. We’re very excited to have her on board,” said RACVB President/CEO, John Groh.

Nold is a Certified Public Accountant with 25 years of accounting experience. She most recently worked as a contract employee with the Winnebago County Health Department and previously held financial leadership positions with Easter Seals Children's Development Center, Sikich and other accounting/audit firms.

Nold received her Bachelor of Science degree from the Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. She is an active and committed volunteer with GiGi’s Playhouse and the Girl Scouts.
Nold began her work with RACVB on September 4, 2012.
