Pecora Joins Riverside Community Bank Board

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Dan Pecora, Chief Operating Officer for Cimco Resources in Rockford, joined the board of directors of Riverside Community Bank. The board oversees the activities of the $358 million dollar financial institution with four locations in the Northern Illinois region.

Pecora’s company, Cimco Resources, Inc., has nine locations in two states providing metal recycling services for many materials ranging from sheet iron to aluminum, appliances to automobiles. The company employs 110 people.

“Mr. Pecora’s vast industrial experience, oversight of his company’s successful expansion and technological innovations, and his connection and dedication to our community make him a highly valued addition to our local board of directors,” said Riverside’s President and CEO Steve Ward. Pecora will join other community directors including Board Chairman Dan Loescher, Mike Broski, Steve Elsberg, Craig Erdmier, Pam Maher, Mike Rogers, and Jean Vitale.

Pecora previously worked at multiple recycling facilities including Behr Metals in Rockford. Pecora is also the CEO of Belvidere-based Pecora Ventures, a private equity firm that purchases and invests in various businesses. Pecora lives in Belvidere with his wife and three children and also serves on the Rosecrance Health Network board.
