ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Construction on the North Main and Auburn Street round-about is well underway. Many buildings are already coming down, but some are still open.

We stopped by the PAWS Humane Society Thrift Store. Luan Dean, Director, PAWS Humane Society, says the construction has not negatively impacted their business so far but they are wondering what the road work will do to business in the future.

"We are really wondering how its going to affect us after words after the round-about actually done. You know how its going to affect people getting in and out to our store that will be yet to be seen. but as far as the construction goes you know what we are going to be open," Dean said.

Construction of the round-about should be complete by Fall of 2013.
