LOVES PARK (WIFR) -- On March 1, area pet owners will have an alternate choice for pet care during vacations and business trips. Tina Sievers has opened Pet Sitting by Tina, in Loves Park.

This means pet owners can now leave their pet(s) in the comfort and familiarity of their own home.

"We will visit your home on a daily basis to feed, water, and walk your pet(s). And, most importantly, Pet Sitting by Tina will provide lots of tender loving care and personalized attention during each visit," said Tina Sievers, owner of the company. Tina has been providing pet care fro a small number of clients in the Rockford area since 2004, and recently decided to open the business.

Pet Sitting by Tina is a member of a and insured through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC. The company is also a member of the Parks Chamber of Commerce and Professional United Pet Sitters (PUPS).

"Our mission is to provide quality care for quality pets," Sievers said. "We want every pet owner to be able to leave home with peace of mind, knowing his or her pet(s) and home are in our responsible care."

The company provides service to Loves Park, Machesney Park, Rockford, and Roscoe. Various service packages are available, from "gold" package which includes four visits per day to the "drop-in" which is a once a day visit popular with pet owners who work all day and can't get home over their lunch hour.

As part of the grand opening, all clients making reservation during the months of March and April will receive a 10% discount off the total bill for their first service.
