ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The best apple cider in the country is made right here in Rockford.

Curran's Apple Orchard won first place last week in the National Sweet Cider Contest. Judges said it was the best apple cider in Illinois and the best apple cider in the entire country. Curran's has never won the award before. The winning recipe was made this fall and then frozen for the competition.
