ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Just before 1:30 AM this morning Rockford police were called to investigate a triple shooting. Shots were fired at the 100 block of Alvert Avenue where three victims received medical attention from the attack.

At the scene police found a 27 year-old Rockford man who had been shot in his left arm and a 24 year-old Rockford man with a gunshot wound to his hip.The third victim was a 24 year-old woman who received a shot to the arm and was rushed to the local hospital.
