Roscoe Police Looking for Battery Suspect

ROSCOE (WIFR) -- The Roscoe Police Department took a report of a battery on July 10, 2012. The battery took place in the 11000 block of Main Street, near the intersection of Elevator and Main.

It was reported that a white male of an unknown age approached a female in the strip mall parking lot. The male pinned the female against the vehicle and struck her in the face. The female was able to escape and last saw the male running Eastbound.

The subject was described as a white male, six feet tall, dark eyes wearing a dark blue sweatshirt with shorts. There is no further description of this male.

This incident occurred on July 5, 2012 at approximately 10:00 p.m.

The Roscoe Police encourages citizens to use care when entering or exiting their vehicles and to be aware of their surroundings. If you feel uncomfortable call the police and always try to walk or park in a lit area.
