ROCKFORD (WIFR) - - Monday afternoon at 4:10pm, a 38-year-old female was robbed at gunpoint.

A female was approached in the 800 block of N. Church Street in the parking lot of an apartment building. A black male drove up in a navy blue Impala with tinted windows offered her a ride. Once inside, the female was held at gunpoint. Unharmed, the victim was dropped off at an alley on Fisher Street. Her phone and purse was taken in the act.

The suspect of the crime is described in his mid 30's, black and heavy-set. If you have any information please contact the Rockford Police Department.
