OREGON (WIFR) -- It turns out that a puddle of blood found in a bathroom at Oregon's Mix Park over the weekend was not a crime -- just a bad nosebleed.
Chief Darin DeHaan says the blood was from someone who had an extreme nosebleed and used the bathroom to wash up. DeHaan also says droplets of blood were all over the floor and spatter marks were blown around a stall and toilet.
"It looked like a crime scene in there," says DeHaan, "But it turns out it wasn't an assault or anything like that. It was just a nosebleed."
