OREGON (WIFR) -- A convicted sex offender in Ogle County is sentenced to 19 years in prison after pleading guilty to criminal sexual assault of a child and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Chad Rand, 25, of Rochelle, was sentenced Tuesday, after pleading guilty to the charges back in February. According to the Ogle County State's Attorney, Rand must spend 19 years in prison and pay a $500 fine and court costs to the victim, who is still a minor. Additional charges involving predatory criminal sex assault and aggravated sexual abuse were dismissed. Rand received 30 days credit for time he's already served.
