Rochelle police arrest a man who they say failed to register on a state list of child murderers and violent offenders.

Josh W. Seany, 30, of Rochelle, was arrested today for failing to register as a murderer and violent offender against youth. The state maintains a database of child murderers and violent offenders.

Rochelle police were not available for comment, but according to the state's database of child murderers and violent offenders against youth, Seaney registered as early as February 2007. He was convicted in an incident with an infant in Kane County.
