i feel the same way it makes me no cence letting law enforcement go while the criminals are sitting back lafhing about this it's just plain crazy letting the police go why can't they meaning the mayor and the rest of the govt bodies take a cut in their nice income but they'll not all the well crime still rises

I would have to concur with Kirk on this. Government on all levels talk "Big" about security but react "small". Look at our level of security nationally on Christmas day in Detroit. The groups or individuals that have a passion to inflict harm know all too well that holding high standards for security is tidious and costly. Anyway, the end result is that we wait for things to happen and then address the situation...seems to almost be the American way.

FUNNY, CRIME IS ON THE RISE, BUT THE CITIES IN THIS PART OF THE STATE ARE LETTING POLICE OFFICERS GO. THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENCE. LET’S CUT THE BUDGETS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT, AND OTHER EMERGENCY PERSONEL. ON 9-11 THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY FOUND OUT WE ARE NOT AS SAFE AS WE THINK. WE HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THREATS COMING FROM AFAR AS WELL AS AT HOME. SO LET’S KEEP LAYING OFF OUR LAW ENFORECEMENT, AND CUTTING BACK ON THE MILITARY. AND SPEND THE MONEY ON LESS IMPORTANT THINGS. FROM A FORMER MILITRARY POLICE OFFICER.
