ROCKFORD - (WIFR) The Rockford Park District and Rockford Crime Stoppers are asking for our help to find the suspect of an alleged buglary. On Saturday, July 17th at about 5 PM, a woman put her purse down on the ground near her car. When she returned a few minutes later the purse was gones. Shortly after that, the woman's bank card was used at several Rockford locations including Rockford Food and Liquor in the 17-hundred block of Kishwaukee Street, and this Way-Lo gas station in the 29-hundred block of West State.
The suspect is described as a female in her late 30's, 5'5" tall, 150 lbs., and possibly wearing a black wig and short ponytail. She was last seen leaving in a newer light-colored Pacifica. If you have any information on this alleged burglary, make the anonymous call to Crime Stoppers, and you could earn a cash reward of up to $1,000.
