Hundreds Attend First Ever Pro Am Jam

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- For the first time ever we had the chance to rock out to some great music before watching golfers hit the links for the Rockford Pro Am.

Hundreds of people packed into the BMO Sunday for the Pro Am Jam.

Country superstar Darius Rucker was the headline act. You may also know him as “Hootie” from Hootie and the Blowfish.

Steve Azar, Josh Kelly, and Edwin McCain also took the stage.

Pro Am organizers hope the concert gets even non-golf fans excited for the annual tournament.

The 38th annual Rockford Pro Am tees off Monday morning at Forest Hills Country Club.
