A new safety study reveals over half a million truck and bus drivers on our roads right now are unfit to be behind the wheel. These drivers who have commercial licenses also have medical conditions that qualify them for full federal disability payments.

Each year hundreds of deaths and injuries are blamed on commercial truck and bus drivers who suffer medical emergencies on the job, federal records say truckers in every state violate medical rules.

Plus, the agency that oversees truck drivers admits it hasn't completed any safety recommendations proposed since 2001.

I'd like to know just what "full federal disability payments" you're refering too. It seems to me the federal government doesn't respond to the people who "need". Whatever disability there may be, it is not available to truckers. I know being the wife a trucker.
