MASCOUTAH, Ill. (AP) -- Five NCAA head football coaches are passing through Scott Air Force Base on their way overseas for a tour of U.S. military bases in the Middle East.

The delegation includes Georgia's Mark Richt (rict), Miami's Randy Shannon, Yale's Jack Siedlecki (sid-LECK'-ee), Auburn's Tommy Tuberville and Notre Dame's Charlie Weis.

While visiting the base just east of St. Louis near Mascoutah (muh-SKOO'-tuh), the coaches will tour the facility, meet its leadership and mingle with military members and their families.

The coaches' overseas tour will take six days. During the trip, they'll coach flag football teams made up of military personnel and take questions during symposiums.
