MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A new poll shows that a majority of Wisconsin residents disapprove of the jobs President Bush and Congress are doing.

But a majority like how Governor Doyle and the Wisconsin Legislature are working.

The University of Wisconsin Survey Center's Badger Poll released Thursday shows that only 29 percent approve of how Bush is handling his job, while 68 percent disapprove.

Only 33 percent approve of how Congress is doing its job, while 62 percent disapprove.

But Doyle's approval rating is at 55 percent, which has been constant over the past year. The Legislature's approval rating is 54 percent, up 14 percent from December.

The poll of 521 people was conducted between April 15 and April 24 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
