A church near Cleveland is searching for answers Sunday (10/21) after two of their preachers were shot, police say, by their 16 year old son.

Police in Lorain County say the teen shot his mother in the head twice and his father several times.

His mother Sue Petric was killed on the scene and his father Mark Petric was air lifted in serious condition.

Police say the couple's daughter and son in law discovered the bloody scene as they arrived at the home Saturday (10/20) night.

The Petrics were both preachers at the New Life Assembly of God Church in Wellington.
