An afternoon at a funny movie in Tucson, Arizona turned very serious very fast when a woman at the movie theater says she was eating bagged popcorn and bit into a razor blade.

Sagrado Martinez says she was nearly done with the popcorn when she bit down and was terrified to find she had bitten down on the blade.

She was at the movie theater with her children, but had to leave to go to the hospital. Doctors say she cut the palate of her mouth. Martinez says the incident also stressed her out to the point where she broke out in hives.

Martinez says she was given a tetanus shot.

The owners of the movie theater say they are taking Martinez' claim seriously and are looking into how the blade got into the bag of popcorn.

Martinez has hired an attorney, but says she has not made a decision on whether she is going to file a lawsuit.
