An early morning Rockford blaze leaves one firefighter injured. Blackhawk Fire responded to a call just before eleven this morning at 147 East Shore Drive, that's on Blackhawk Island.

Fortunately nobody was in the vacant home however a firefighter sustained a knee injury after falling through a floor. Investigators are still looking into what caused the fire.
