Beloit Man Charged In Teen's Death Save Email Print

A Beloit man, suspected of killing a Loves Park teen, is charged with aggravated driving under the influence involving death and reckless homicide. Wesley J. Hanson faces 3 to 14 years in prison if convicted. The crash happened July 28th at Forest Hills and Harlem Road. Authorities say a Hanson ran a red light and struck Amanda Kordich's car on the driver's side. She was rushed to a hospital, but was later pronounced dead. Hanson is in the Winnebago County Jail on 1 million dollars bond. His next court date is scheduled for August 27th.
