A Rockford man pleads guilty to first degree murder and is sentenced to 50 years in prison. Juhnell Morgan confessed that he shot and killed Pamela Holmstrom back in 2006. Holmstrom had been responding to a cab call in Rockford when Morgan walked up to the car and shot her in the head. He admitted it was during the course of an armed robbery.

Police arrested Morgan in Chicago a few months later on unrelated charges, that's when he confessed to the murder.
