We now have the name of the man who died from drowning at a private quarry in South Beloit Wednesday night. Dead is 28-year-old Ezekiel Andrews of Rockford.

Andrews was swimming with his girlfriend and some friends when he jumped in the water and suddenly panicked. He was pronounced dead at 8:17 pm Wednesday night.

Police are investigating. An autopsy is scheduled for today.
