If you spent your morning sleeping in and taking it easy, hundreds of others in Rockford decided to wake up early and start the 4Th off with a run!

MELD held their annual July 4Th classic 8k run, a 2-mile run, and a family fun walk on. All three kicked off at about seven this morning and started and ended on Madison Street.

MELD's a local organization that helps needy families in our area.
