Rockford residents of all backgrounds came together to celebrate the polish culture at this year's polish fest. Festival goers were treated to the sounds of polka music and tastes of polish favorites. Organizers say the fest is for a good cause.

"Help money to raise for the church so we can pay our bills, that sort of stuff," said Polish Fest organizer Robert Fatla. "It's mainly just for the church .... It's the 31st, I believe it is.
