Eight people are homeless tonight after the apartment building they live in goes up in flames.

It happened at around four this afternoon a building on Lincoln Highway in Rochelle. Investigators believe a problem with the facility's electrical system may have caused the fire. Damage is estimated at around 30-thousand dollars. Red Cross has stepped in to help.
