One year after a local party supply store shuts down in the stateline after fifty years in business, another local retailer is planning its grand opening.

Premier Party Essentials just opened on Charles Street near Logli, bringing nine jobs to the area. The store wants to fill the void PartyLand left behind when it closed around this time last year in the five points area. The business will sell multiple themed decorations and cards. Two local brothers will run the store.

Brian and Bruce Wandell said they are excited about their next venture.
