Nearly 33 million people are expected to travel this holiday weekend, causing a lot of extra traffic on our roads. Police have already responded to several roll-over accidents near US 20 where four people were injured.

The first happened just after 9:30 last night on I-39 just east of Bypass 20 near Mulford Road. Investigators tell us a semi truck and van collided, causing the van to flip over multiple times before landing in a median. Four people were hurt in the crash. We're told their injuries are minor.

Another roll-over accident occurred just before 2 p.m. this afternoon. Illinois State Police say the driver was coming from Route 2 onto U.S. 20 West, when she hit a slick part of the pavement and rolled her truck. She ended up making it out of the crash OK, however, her vehicle is considered totaled.
