Group members call themselves "Anti-Violence Protesters." The demonstrators stood outside of the public safety building this afternoon with signs asking for justice.
You may remember 18-year-old Logan Bell was fatally shot by one of three officers after investigators say the suspect ran from police and refused to put down his gun which was pointed at law enforcement. That weapon turned out to be pellet gun.
"It seems like to me that they will take a dog down but when it comes to a black man, he has just got to die why do they have to die?" said rally organizer Linda Tripp.
The integrity task force is investigating the shooting.
