More than seven departments respond to mobile home fire in Machesney Park.

It happened at around six tonight at a home on Pershing Avenue. Extra firefighters were called in for back up to stop the fire from spreading to neighboring buildings. The incident is under investigation. Volunteers with the Red Cross have stepped in to help.
