UPDATE: Driver, Pedro Montalvo-Ortiz of Kirkland, has been released from the hospital.

ROCHELLE (WIFR) -- Around 5 p.m. on Sunday afternoon 35 year old Pedro Ortiz, of Kirkland, crashed and rolled his Chevy Cavalier.

When police arrived on scene Ortiz had to be extracted from the vehicle and was rushed via helicopter to St. Anthony’s Hospital.

Pedro was arrested for driving under the influence, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid and accident, and failure to be insured.
